Didier Jouvenet comes to Chez Catherine from having spent 32 years with the finest New York City restaurants including 20 years at La Grenouille and 8 years at The Carlyle Hotel. Born and raised in Lyons, in a family of restaurateurs understandably was attracted to the kitchen early in life. He graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière in Grenoble, a culinary and management school and gained excellent experience at sea as the youngest Maître d'hôtel on a French cruise line. Mr. Jouvenet also served in this position with the French Navy. His wife Edith was born in Marseilles. She will welcome you and is also in charge of the provencal decoration.
Stephane Bocket, born in Dunkerque is the maître d'hôtel since 2005, after many years spending with Alain Ducasse restaurants in NYC and France.
